Making bargains with the High King of Caldaria, a ragtag group of warriors—a mage, who through dark magic, shares her body with another; an orc rebel, more accustomed to fighting pits than the free world; a monster-hunter (and occasional pirate), infamous for the trophies he’s taken; a knight, who has basically given up at this point; an elven princess, who carries a deep secret —are sent to exterminate a mysterious monster which stole an ancient artifact from the High King. As the unlikely company journeys to face the monster, they share tales from their lives that explain who they are and why they’re there in the first place.
